Data we collect
Pawlerts collects only the data needed to provide recall alerts: an app-generated device ID, Expo push token, your pet preference (dog, cat, or both), and an optional notification email if you enter one.
How we use and share data
We use this data to send recall notifications, filter alerts based on your selected pet preference, and keep notification settings working. We also collect limited in-app analytics events to understand app usage and improve reliability. We do not use analytics data for third-party advertising.
We share data only with service providers needed to run Pawlerts (such as Supabase and Expo notifications), and those providers are expected to protect user data to the same standard described in this policy. We do not sell personal data.
Data retention and deletion
We keep notification-related data while your device is active for alerts. You can delete your stored data any time in the app by using Settings → Delete My Account.
Your choices
You can change pet preference and notification settings in the app at any time, disable notifications in device settings, and revoke consent by deleting your account data in Settings.
